About Lynn Morris

Grew up in Springfield, MO attending Springfield Public Schools, then Southwest Missouri State University for 2 years in the pre-pharmacy program, then 4 years at University of Missouri Kansas City for pharmacy school. Attended Southwest Baptist for 2 years for a Masters of Healthcare Administration.

Moved to Ozark in 1977 and then to Freemont Hills in 1978 where he and his wife Janet currently reside.

Wife Janet (Smith) Morris – graduate of Ozark HS, obtained her LPN and worked for several years as a nurse and then as a nursing home administrator for Americare. Janet currently serves as Vice President/Owner of Family Pharmacy.

Lynn and Janet have three children, Justin, Melissa and Mandy, all graduates of Ozark High School and currently work in the family business.

Lynn and Janet are members of Ozark Baptist Church.

Lynn is a former Boy Scout, having earned the Eagle Scout rank.

Lynn has served on several boards, including Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Ozark School Board for 6 years.

While owner of Family Pharmacy, also served as Chief Operating Officer for Columbia HCA Springfield Campus for 2 years.

Recipient of the Missourian Award, Pharmacist of the Year – Springfield Business Journal, U.S. Pharmacist of the Year.
